Help Expand Our Gospel Reach!
Help us grow the reach and effectiveness of our ministries — for God’s glory
Take The Hill
God has entrusted Kindred Community Church to be stewards of one of the largest and most beautiful church properties in all of Orange County with an expansive campus strategically placed in Anaheim Hills, California.
Kindred was established in 2003, as a church meeting in a rented facility. God graciously allowed Kindred to purchase the current church campus in our first year and move into our new home in 2005 after improving the property and enlarging the worship center. Since moving in, Kindred has continued to improve the property to meet our growing needs. This has primarily entailed adding more modulars for children and adults and expanding parking lots, which included the purchase of an adjoining property in 2014.
In the past few years, we’ve addressed our growing ministry and operational needs by developing an offsite location to accommodate our church offices and several midweek ministries, but now our pressing needs are on the main campus.
How You Can Participate
Whether a member at Kindred or a friend of this ministry, we would love for you to participate in our Take the Hill project at whatever level God leads you.
A Word from Pastor Philip
Dear Friends,
Over the last fourteen years at Kindred, we, like those in Nehemiah’s day, have seen the good hand of God upon us. God has honored the worship of His Son and the preaching of the gospel by growing this ministry in both depth and breadth.
Knowing full well that the church is the people and not the building, I am nevertheless excited for this next chapter in the life of our church as we begin expansive improvements to our facilities. The growth of Kindred demands and deserves site improvements and building expansion so that we may embrace greater ministry capacity and capability. Those in this church’s past did it for us, and we need to do it for a present and future generation.
Caleb prayed for a mountain, God has given us a hill, and it is therefore my prayer that we will Take the Hill for God’s glory and continue to be a gospel light set on a hill that cannot be hidden.
