God has entrusted Kindred Community Church to be stewards of one of the largest and most beautiful church properties in all of Orange County with an expansive campus strategically placed in Anaheim Hills, California.
Kindred was established in 2003, as a church meeting in a rented facility. God graciously allowed Kindred to purchase the current church campus in our first year and move into our new home in 2005 after improving the property and enlarging the worship center. Since moving in, Kindred has continued to improve the property to meet our growing needs. This has primarily entailed adding more modulars for children and adults and expanding parking lots, which included the purchase of an adjoining property in 2014.
In the past few years, we’ve addressed our growing ministry and operational needs by developing an offsite location to accommodate our church offices and several midweek ministries, but now our pressing needs are on the main campus.
We believe that this is the time to take the next step forward in the further development of our property by:
- Adding over 9,000 additional square feet of ministry space in the worship center and more modular classrooms for children and adults
- Creating expanded and enhanced outdoor areas for gathering and fellowship amidst the beauty of our property
- Updating our campus buildings and grounds to maximize their usefulness and appearance
- Centralizing the campus for greater ministry effectiveness by locating our buildings around the worship center
By expanding to accommodate our growth and having all worship, fellowship, and ministry activities centralized on one level, our congregation can be better served. We will be taking everything up to the top, both literally and figuratively, which is why our theme Take the Hill is appropriate.
Kindred Community Church exists to glorify God by making, maturing, and mobilizing disciples of Jesus Christ throughout the world. Since the church’s inception, we have remained focused on being biblically faithful. We are grateful that God has allowed us to represent Christ in North Orange County and beyond.
We are an established, mature, gospel-focused, Bible-preaching, disciple-making, worshipping, praying, grace-oriented church. Our desire is to equip our members with the Word of God to do the work of the ministry and represent Jesus where God has placed them. God has given us a wonderful and diverse membership of all ages, ethnicities, and walks of life brought together under the banner of seeking to be a biblical church.
Our prayer is that God allows us to continue in faithfulness to reach the world with the Gospel, both in our own community and around the world for generations to come.
Designing our campus to maximize ministry is good stewardship of the property God has entrusted to us. More people served through the ministries and facilities of our church means more glory to God and impact on our community for Christ.
